   I have a couple bat-related items on that I am very excited to have. My eyes are a gift from A.D.D. Andel for Trick or Treat Lane. Also a gift from ToTL is my septum piercing from Purrrrfect Kitties. I am sure I will post many more bat-related goodies soon. I just can't help myself.

Natural Gal

Feeling a more natural vibe today.  I found this Lelutka head in my inventory from a million years ago.  It's not Bento but I still love it and it works with this awesome Pink Fuel applier skin I got recently! The skin is so gorgeous I can't even handle it. There are twelve "balm and gloss" lip applier shades with it, five matte lip applier shades, eight dolly lip shades, nine eye makeup options, nine brow options, and it's available in twelve shades. FML. Pink Fuel really goes all out each release and I love it. I am wearing a Pink Fuel eyeshadow as well with it because I found it in my inventory when organizing and wanted to wear it as well. It has an option to wear it plain like this or with a winged eyeliner as well.

My hair is from Elikatira, who I am really glad to see is still rocking her store after all this time when I got back from my time away.  I got this hair on FLF but there are still color available at regular price in the store of course. She always makes such lovely styles. I am normally not such a hippie gal but I just am feeling the nature vibes here. :)

It's Been a While!

Uncertain Smile Part 1

  I have watched my pal Isabelli learn to make her own mesh, to grow and become an even stronger creator than before.  She is a genuinely kind person and I adore her. She made some food stuff from Brazil for the Multicultural Menu event happening now.  Those who know me know how much I love pixel food so you can guess how excited I am that this event is happening. Bandanna Day!

  Today is the last day of Hair Fair this year so that means it's Bandanna Day!  What does that mean?  It means we take off our hair and put on bandannas in honor of those who are fighting the struggle and losing their locks.  You can choose from a bunch of different styles of bandannas at Hair Fair 2014 for 50L each, with all the money going to Wigs For Kids.

Past and Present

 When I saw these boots from Lassitude & Ennui  for We Love Role-Play my first thought was "These are freaking amazing."  My second thought was "Something about these boots remind me of something else."  Well, I figured it out.

  Back when I joined SL in 2007 I went to this shop looking for old fashioned boots to match a gown I had.  I found L&E and my jaw dropped.  This was everything I wanted!!   I bought one pair of boots at the time and more later on.  One pair of the boots I bought?  Ankle boots with a brocade type pattern in a light color with shiny buttons.
  I am so, so happy to have a new version of this type of boot.  As you can see, mesh has brought us a long way.  Whether you were for against mesh coming to SL you have to admit that it has brought some really, really beautiful clothing to SL.
  These boots are available in several sizes that are rigged and they are also available in an unrigged version for those who maybe can't fit properly into the rigged sizes.  Several other colors available for only 180L each.

Disco- Unedited

  I am exhausted today.  Like, nodding off every few minutes level of tired.  I can't sleep, however, because RL demands I keep these peepers open.  I thought of music and then I peeked around my inventory and decided to post this disco inspired look.  Then when I went to edit the photo the sleepiness hit me again.  My options were try to edit the photo, be too tired, and not actually post anything, or do an unedited photo (with some flaws...ignore them) and actually post.  So, as you can see, posting wins!  Woo!
  These items are really cool and I hope my photography is clear enough for you to see that.  I thought this mini dress with it's loose halter top made a good match for the disco bar set from Circa.  This free hairstyle would be a great updo for dancing.

My Husband Says This Purse Is Awesome

  So my husband said this purse is cool and I agree.  It's one of several "mouths" you can get at Pixicat for Kustom 9.  There are four lip versions and you can get choose from three color packs for each one and there are all kind of other options like piercings!  Pretty dang cool.
  My shorts are from Moon Amore.  I love the lace on these.  I wish I could wear lace shorts in RL but...uh...ain't nobody wanna see that. The price is way better in SL than it is in RL anyway, seeing as you get 10 colors for 150L, so whatevs, haha!

  My hair is from LaNoir Soleil Designs.  I blogged them HERE before when showing their prize for The Lost Mine Hunt and I stopped into the store again and am now basically in love.  Who doesn't love finding mesh hair places they didn't know about before?

Skin Fair Closing Soon- Part Two

  Hi all!  I have a second post here to show something from Skin Fair before it closes, in case you haven't been there yet and are looking for suggestions.
  The skin here is from Iren.  I liked the look of this tan tone, which is weird because I normally go pale.  There are plenty of tones to choose from in the Iren brand so if you like pale, tan, dark, or in between you can find something to suit you.  There are lots of new faces out from Iren at the fair but I liked this one, Barbara, the most.  I m wearing the no brow here with a tattoo layer eyebrow from a different brand.  I wanted to show the brow version of this skin because it is straight up epic but SL kept crashing before i could get a photo.  Just trust me, it's pretty fab. Well, actually, you can check out the designer's photo HERE for a better idea, though I personally think they look even cooler inworld.

  This skin comes with a ton of options.  One thing is that not only do you get appliers for Phat Azz, SLink hands & feet, and Lola, you also get the brand's own mesh hands!  So if you are a person that doesn't want to go buy the SLink ones to get a perfect skin match you can still rock the mesh hands.  Woo!

Sugar For My Belly

  So, we all know that TSG has cute faces on their skin.  An example of this is below.  Even if you hate my avatar's shape and my photo taking skills you should still be able to see how nice of a skin this is.  Slightly realistic with a mostly "cartoon" appeal, freckle options, birthmark option, brow color options, no brow options, etc.  All awesome.  But maybe you might not know one very cool thing about the bodies.  (There will be a cut below because boobies is why.)

Perfect Pumps and Poche

  I just wanted to quickly share these shoes from LVLE.  They have been out for  little bit now and I meant to blog them earlier but RL has been punching me in the face repeatedly for a while now and I never got around to it.  I am making sure i show them now though because YOU NEED THEM.  Who am I to not inform you of what you need?  That would be cruel.  You would never know you needed them unless someone told you.  You would suffer your whole life wondering "Why me?  Why is my life so full sadness and despair?" when really all you needed was these pumps.
  OK, maybe I am exaggerating a tiny bit, but they are really, really nice.  There are so many awesome stripper heels and goth heels and spiked patent leather dominatrix shoes and basically all kids of shoes but few make a basic pump these days.  I love these because they go with SLink feet (basically any shoes I buy these days so, gotta be honest) and they match a ton of looks, even with jeans and stuff.  There are lots of colors too.  Check them out at LVLE.

  The little food set up is free from Poche.  I pretty much just put it there because I feel obligated at this point to have food with my shoe posts.  Also, it's free.  And it's from Poche so you know its good quality and original mesh.  Om nom nom.  I've never had mincemeat pie but I might try it for Poche.

A Fair Goth

  I have been waiting excitedly for World Goth Fair for what seems like ages.  Now that it's here I am overwhelmed with all the awesome and had a hard time deciding where to start with the blogging!  Ah!  I decided to show something from Paper Moon first because I recently posted an item of theirs from the past Fantasy Faire and this is SO DIFFERENT that I thought it would be fun to show a totally other side of the brand.
  This mesh dress comes with different prints on the front, all from classic works of art in a dark, gothic style, and used *legally*, unlike so many other stores who just grab whatever they want from whichever artist they want without permission. (Stares for an uncomfortably long time at the art-snatchers who may be reading this.)  Each dress comes with information about the work of art featured as well, which made me really happy because I loved that little dose of history with my fashion!

  My skin is from La Petite Morte at Goth Fair.  This is from the skin line called Ophelia.  There is a version with heavier eye makeup that is a 50% donation item as well.  It seriously feels like just yesterday that this store started making skins, even though it has been a while now, and seeing them just get better and better each release is so exciting!!  My hair is from a newish-to-me store called Due and it's mesh and I love it, even though it didn't fit my bean-shaped head all that well. :P  I did a post on Free*Style with a free hair from there HERE as well.  My necklace is from Draconic Kiss and is also a 50% donation item at Goth Fair.  I am so afraid of spiders in RL (and obviously super afraid of poisonous ones like a black widow!) but in SL they are just fine!

Cupssitude and Ennuake

  I have a few things I want to show you today that I love.  I took these pictures a while back but I have had so many computer issues I am just getting to posting them now.  Look how cute I am!

  My skin, scarf and dress are from Cupcakes.  The sim has been redone and it's so gorgeous!  There are new stores all over the sim and the all have items out for 70L or less to celebrate the opening.  The items I am wearing are not part of the sale BUT you can get the mesh scarf in a full pack of three pastel colors for only 50L and you can get this skin in a different makeup, exclusive to the opening event, for only 70L per tone.  I chose to wear this slightly more nude version of the Emilia skin because I just wanted to highlight how lovely the lips and eye are are.  Keep a watch on Cupcakes because they are planning some great things in their quest to reinstate themselves as a top original brand and get out of the template-creator rut.  I can't wait!!

   My boots are from Lassitude & Ennui and are one of the more recent releases.  They are currently at the L'Accessoires event only but I am sure will be released into the main store once that is over.  There are six colors available and each has different sizes so you don't have to worry about if they will fit your legs or not.   here are demos anyway in case you aren't sure. :P

How Do You Afford Your Rock and Roll Lifestyle?

I was talking to someone on Plurk recently about how we are both sort of stuck in the 90's.  It's true, it really is.  I think, to an extent, people tend to have some sort of subconscious preference for a lot of things that were around when they were developing into an adult.  Like, my mom is really fashionable, totally with the times, but I can often see some hint of the 70s in what she likes.  With me, I find myself most excited about things that are from about 1994-2001 or so.  I remember wanting to be Gwen Stefani SO BAD when Tragic Kingdom came out.  I wore plaid pants and tank tops whenever I could for so long, haha.  Even well into high school I would bedazzle my bra straps so when they stuck out they were sparkly like hers were back then.  I totally should still do that. D:

Anyway, these plaid pants from Dilly Dolls reminded me of those times a lot.  I love how they have a curvier shape to them than most brands I have been seeing these days.  They also super pegged on the bottom so you can wear them under boots!  The sizes run a bit weird, like I usually have to wear a small or medium in pants but I wore an extra small with these.  Comes with all sizes though, so woo!  My sweater is the weekly special from Sn@tch and in several collar/cuff texture choices.  Currently 75L per size.  More info. below!
