  Just doing a quick random post today to get my blog mojo flowing free.  The bright colors of this kitty dress from Somnia made me smile and therefore made me post!  There are tons of colors available and there is even a different color set available for the fundraiser at The Lexi Project.  There is a little tail texture on the back and an optional color change bow.  Adorbs!  Check out the details and enjoy!

Foxes and Shoes?

  So foxes and shoes don't go together generally but my daughter was all MOM GET THOSE FENNEC FOXES when she saw me looking at the Seraphim gallery for Kustom9 this round.  SO then I had some fixes, and bought a couple pairs of shoes there, got one more pair as a review copy from an unrelated place, then realized I had two more just sitting around.  So shoes and fixes it became!!

Drippy Fingers and a Bunny Bag

  I got this bunny bag and these drippy fingers the same day and they totally match so I think they were meant to be worn together.
  I haven't tried to wear a ton of the tattoo layers for the SLink hands, just rarely found any I was super in love with, but then I got these super freaking cool smudgy finger paint ones from Ni.Ju and fell in love.  The color combo options are awesome and they are just unique and fun.  Everything at Ni.Ju is pretty much fun anyway, haha,

  I kind of super love bunnies and tend to go find as many bunny things as I can and get them when I can afford to.  This bag is from La Fable and I haven't really heard a ton about this store yet so there isn't much I can tell you, other than it has lots of fun, affordable stuff.  Like I got a giant green pig chair.  LOL.  Lots of good times.  You can get this bag in white, brown and black to fit your needs.  No green though, haha.

Bandanna Day!

  Today is the last day of Hair Fair this year so that means it's Bandanna Day!  What does that mean?  It means we take off our hair and put on bandannas in honor of those who are fighting the struggle and losing their locks.  You can choose from a bunch of different styles of bandannas at Hair Fair 2014 for 50L each, with all the money going to Wigs For Kids.

Skin Fair Closing Soon- Part Two

  Hi all!  I have a second post here to show something from Skin Fair before it closes, in case you haven't been there yet and are looking for suggestions.
  The skin here is from Iren.  I liked the look of this tan tone, which is weird because I normally go pale.  There are plenty of tones to choose from in the Iren brand so if you like pale, tan, dark, or in between you can find something to suit you.  There are lots of new faces out from Iren at the fair but I liked this one, Barbara, the most.  I m wearing the no brow here with a tattoo layer eyebrow from a different brand.  I wanted to show the brow version of this skin because it is straight up epic but SL kept crashing before i could get a photo.  Just trust me, it's pretty fab. Well, actually, you can check out the designer's photo HERE for a better idea, though I personally think they look even cooler inworld.

  This skin comes with a ton of options.  One thing is that not only do you get appliers for Phat Azz, SLink hands & feet, and Lola, you also get the brand's own mesh hands!  So if you are a person that doesn't want to go buy the SLink ones to get a perfect skin match you can still rock the mesh hands.  Woo!

 Hi guys!  I'm too into this awesome music to concentrate on clever writing so let's get right into the details, shall we?
  This skin/applier from Adam n Eve for Skin Fair makes me so happy.  I love Adam n Eve skins anyway but then you add in that it's an applier for SLink Visage?  Yes please!  My dress is from Pure Style and I had some fitting issues with it in regards to the alpha that I don't generally have with standard sizing items.  But it was only 50L and I eventually got it to work and I got lots of compliments wearing it so no big deal.  :P

  This applier comes with about a million options in the hud.  OK, not a million, but I love hyperbole!  But, yeah, there are a bunch of options and there is a red lipstick options, which means I am happy.  You can have red, brows, or blonde brows too, not just the color I am wearing.  The skin itself is a wonderful makeup-free, natural look.  You can also get other SLink appliers from Adam N Eve as well.  Here is what the hud looks like in case you are interested:

  I am kind of in love with the little clipboard from Ni.Ju.  It comes with a bunch of textures you can put on the face of it to fit whatever outfit/scene you are going for.  I chose a medical one because of the whole nurse thing, obviously.  There are wear and rez versions included and you can also have a bloody version!  My little pill set was a cheapie from Follow Us and it just fit too darn well not to share it too.

Just Cuz

  So I spend most of my time in SL bald, AO-less, probably naked, because of the being a creator/hermit thing, as I have said before, so when I put an outfit on for no reason other than to feel cute I guess I should blog it.
  Most of these items aren't particularly new so I am sure you have seen the blogged a million time before.  I just love the colors, the shapes, the styles, and feel that considering how happy they make me I should show them, new or not!

  I left the photo completely unedited, no sharp angled rounded or pixeled line smudged, because I wanted to show you how it was pretty enough unedited, with my lower end graphics, that I still felt compelled to post.  Spring is here folks, and the colors are ready to pop!

  I like these pants from Somnia because I wish I could wear super full pants in RL but I can't because I am short and chubby and it looks stupid. :P  This tank top from Cargo, with its back zipper, is great for reverse shots.  My piano scarf, which admittedly you can't see that well here so oops, is a past Arcade gacha item from Fatewear that I adore because I have one almost exactly the same in RL.  It's my fave wintertime item so yay for having it in SL!

Quick and Casual

  Just wanted to share this casual, romantic look from Paper Moon for Fantasy Faire this morning.  This outfit has so many pieces and I have not shown them all here even.  Here I am wearing the headpiece, the belt, the skirt, and the bonus eye makeup (from M.O.C.K. Cosmetics) but you can also get a top and rings as well.  I had a problem with the alpha layer for the skirt so I made my own.  Not sure if it was my own problem or if it was an actual mistake so I sent the creator a note about it.  I'll update this post when I get more info.!  Other than that I really like this outfit, especially the belt!  More details below. EDIT: The alpha is fixed and the creator is super nice and awesome.  Support nice creators! :D

Road Trip Fail and Success

I have had this dress from Valentine E. for over a week now and haven't been able to blog.  I've had some time here and there to do it, that wasn't the problem; the problem was how I should do it.  I have seen other people make it look so glamorous and I know that I can't compete with that, being more of a kooky girl and less of a sophisticated fashionista. I didn't want to do my normal straight SL shot in front of a white wall thing because this dress screams a story that needs to be out of the box.  I felt like I was taking this dress on a trip around the grid searching for spots until I was just creatively broken down.  At that point I was at the Voc Linda sim and I saw this Winnebago and was like holy shit, that's perfect.  I put my av in a style that depicts a break-down, one wear you lose your heels and give up the glamor and just walk until you find what you need, as frustrating as it, much like my journey to get a picture I liked!

OK, sorry for the long rambling.  I had a lot of fun taking this picture once I got to this sim and had a location FINALLY.  If I didn't love this look so much I would have gave up long before and let my inventory absorb the items until they were never seen again, which happens to just about everything I buy, sadly. looool.  Anyway, this dress is only available right now at the current Chic Management event.  There are lots of colors available and it is sold in the mesh "standard sizing" options.  Please see the credits for the rest of the item details! :D

Sometimes you start putting together an outfit with a specific look in mind and end up with something completely different; this is one of those outfits. I started off with a gown, a dark skin, long hair, ballet heels, etc. Somehow I ended up in claws and leather. Hey, I'm not complaining! xD

Gently Used (Insert Mom Joke Here)

I am doing one of the awesome new blogger challenges lined up, this one being to show off items we have had for one or more years! With so many people coming and going in SL a year can be a pixel lifetime. I buy multiple items *every day* so often even old favorites get lost in the inventory vortex of doom.I had to bust out this outfit by Artilleri since I have had it for over three years. Yes, THREE years, and it still looks better quality than most new releases from other stores. This is quite a feat! And, well, look how cute it makes me butt look :D
The skin is one from Chai, which is owned by the same owner as L. Fauna. Chai skins were early favorites of mine and I have had this bad boy since 2008. I think I have every makeup in several tones from this particular skin line xD I added some "modern" cleavage to it from Ayumi because my current av is kind of flat chested and it looked weird with the low cut shirt >.> This skin line is still a favorite of mine, years after it was released.

Potter's Mistress

I finally went to the Potter's Field event and wow....I was so impressed!! Everything there is so gorgeous.
One of my fave finds in the Mistress outfit from Djinn & Tonic. The clothes remind me of some sort of old sci-fi movie alien woman. This is always a good thing.The parasol makes the whole thing feel very surreal. Are the candles on top forever lit in honor of her lost love?

Sophia my love, where have you been all my life? You are gorgeous and you make me feel beautiful.

Yeah, I've got a serious love thing for the new line of dark skins from Adam n Eve. They're my absolute favorite skins to date. There are 4 tones available from a buttery toffee to a deep, dark chocolate, all of which are expertly made and absolutely beautiful. (This is tone 3.) There's an awesome selection of makeups and I love them all, which *never* happens. (My weaknesses are natural skins and skins with red red lips, and this skin has both!)

I also love my Clawtooth hair, and this Haven Designs dress I picked up a few weeks ago, and this dainty jewelry from Monkee and... and... Yeah, I'm just in love with everything.

Crystal Heads Can Be Pretty

When I saw this crystal head from Nushru for the Crazy Ass Hair Hunt I was like whoa this is awesome! Then I was like uh now what do I wear it with?I felt that it went really great with a fairy feel so I rummaged around and found the lovely new dresses from SYSY's that have a super lovely iridescent look to them and they had a perfectly coordinating color so that was also helpful. I went and bought prim feet from SLink which are impeccably made, though really difficult to fit I found after about twenty minutes of adjusting. In the end it is worth it for the bare feet that don't look like wet rags.

A Quickie

Well hello there! I know I've been MIA for a while. I lost my mind and decided to become a content creator. Or is it the other way around? Either way, it's exhausting.
I've been kind of stressed (is it me or is SL being particularly ornery lately?) and ripping my hair out. I need to relax!

I headed up to my sky box and jumped on this break dancing pad from Agent Orange. I consider it to be one of the best hunt gifts ever. It's so entertaining.
I love these socks. I have rainbow toe socks like this in my first life, and I squeed when I found them in SL. What's life without a little color and whimsy?
My friend Sanura dropped these jeans on me today, and when I tried them on I actually thanked her for not showing 6" of visible crack. Remember kids, CRACK IS WACK.

Before I give you my style notes, I wanted to thank the pose makers and animators of SL. Without you I wouldn't look nearly as cute or as glamorous while wearing my pretty clothes, I wouldn't have the break dancing mat that makes me smile, and without an AO I'd be stuck in the default SL muppet stalk, trotting around like I've got a stick up my bum. So thank you for the hard work you put in to each pose and animation. I'm happy to put in the extra half second of effort it takes to credit you on my blog.
