Hairy and Red

I got this new mesh hair from Analog Dog and I had to blog it right away.  It's just too good not to show off!  When a lot of people think of Analog Dog they think of 2007 giant flexi permanently full bright shiny hair, when in fact it has changed quite a lot in that time.  They have just started doing mesh but I am already floored by the quality.  Not only is the hair mesh (something I have come to think of as a positive for most brands, though some brands don't fit my big, weird head yet) but it also has a separate attachment with flexi parts to give it a bit of movement.  Super cool!
My mesh crop top is from Schadenfreude and I just love this retro style.  This top comes in the "standard sizing" fits from XXS-L.  My skin is my new go-to from MiaSnow.  I don't want to take it off ever, don't make me!!!! *Cries*

Puking Rainbows on Alice

Ever wonder why no one has ever found a mermaid even with all the reported sightings?  Because no one bothers to look when no one believes a pirate covered in rainbow vomit, that's why.
You can get this awesome rainbow spewer from Weather or Not and this mermaid ensemble from Quaratine, both at the current Zombie Popcorn carnival.  You can wear the face paint from the WoN set by itself but you'll need a friend (or enemy?) if you want the rainbow puking action, since it takes two people to work.  The mesh mermaid tail from Quarantine only comes in one size so keep that in mind.
I know my pictures aren't that great this time but I had way too much fun taking these pics that I wasn't paying close enough attention to notice the flaws until after they were done.  Just trust me that everything is nice! xD
Worn:
Rainbow Spewer Set: !Weather or Not? @ Zombie Popcorn
Mermaid Tail (mesh), Shell Bra and Pose: Quarantine @ Zombie Popcorn
Hair: Clawtooth by Clawtooth @ Collabor88, 88L per color pack
Skin: Adore&Abhor, MySecondBox gift item (300L join fee, group joiner in store in case you can't fit it in search)
Additional Notes:
-The person with me in the pirate outfit is Alice Demonia.  I have no clue what she is wearing.
-There are some extra rainbow-y effects I added in the first photo post-process and I found them on Pixlr.

Road Trip Fail and Success

I have had this dress from Valentine E. for over a week now and haven't been able to blog.  I've had some time here and there to do it, that wasn't the problem; the problem was how I should do it.  I have seen other people make it look so glamorous and I know that I can't compete with that, being more of a kooky girl and less of a sophisticated fashionista. I didn't want to do my normal straight SL shot in front of a white wall thing because this dress screams a story that needs to be out of the box.  I felt like I was taking this dress on a trip around the grid searching for spots until I was just creatively broken down.  At that point I was at the Voc Linda sim and I saw this Winnebago and was like holy shit, that's perfect.  I put my av in a style that depicts a break-down, one wear you lose your heels and give up the glamor and just walk until you find what you need, as frustrating as it, much like my journey to get a picture I liked!
OK, sorry for the long rambling.  I had a lot of fun taking this picture once I got to this sim and had a location FINALLY.  If I didn't love this look so much I would have gave up long before and let my inventory absorb the items until they were never seen again, which happens to just about everything I buy, sadly. looool.  Anyway, this dress is only available right now at the current Chic Management event.  There are lots of colors available and it is sold in the mesh "standard sizing" options.  Please see the credits for the rest of the item details! :D

Utilitarian

Most of the clothing I buy and blog is the dress-up type.  I show dresses, lingerie, high heels, etc.  One thing I don't show as often are very casual things.  Well, I got these shoes from Bitch and I fell in love with the faux utilitarian style.  I say faux utilitarian because they have a rugged style to them, almost like a work boot, but they have a high, dressy wedge heel.  I love how they have the elastic bits on the side so you feel like if you were putting them on in RL they would just slide on quick and easy.  I'm wearing the most tame color here but there are brighter colors too, like red and purple, as well as classic black and other neutral colors.
My pants are from Sn@tch's weekly Wednesday 75L special.  The color I am wearing here reminds me of some Dickie's I had back when I was a much younger girl and needed some pants that could withstand dirty basement punk rock shows.  They are mesh and come with a whole bunch of colors.  For the price you get only one size choice so try the demo!!!  They are not made with Standard Sizing in mind so don't assume you know which size will fit you without trying.
