Sky Captain
When I put this outfit on yesterday I instantly felt like I could be a villain or something in a movie like Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. The eye patch, the stockings, the shoes, everything just screamed vintage vixen villain. Love!!!
I am also loving red lately so this jacket is great. Apparently it has materials enabled but I have no idea how to use those or if my computer can even handle it so it isn't shown. :P It should also be noted that unless you wear a larger size or the jacket over the smallest size of the dress they won't work together.
These shoes are made by Lassitude & Ennui and are as amazing as everything that has been release there since the dawn of time. Well, the dawn of L&E anyway. So many color available too. Check it out! Details below.
WORN:
Shoes: Lassitude & Ennui
Jacket, Stockings: Uncertain Smile @ Gothmas
Dress: NYU
Patch: Hate Me and Eat Me for Solidea Folies
Hair: Analog Dog, free in the free hair bubble
Lipstick: Pink Fuel, part of a large pack
Skin: Birdy, past group gift, still available in the store

Perfect Pumps and Poche
I just wanted to quickly share these shoes from LVLE. They have been out for little bit now and I meant to blog them earlier but RL has been punching me in the face repeatedly for a while now and I never got around to it. I am making sure i show them now though because YOU NEED THEM. Who am I to not inform you of what you need? That would be cruel. You would never know you needed them unless someone told you. You would suffer your whole life wondering "Why me? Why is my life so full sadness and despair?" when really all you needed was these pumps.
OK, maybe I am exaggerating a tiny bit, but they are really, really nice. There are so many awesome stripper heels and goth heels and spiked patent leather dominatrix shoes and basically all kids of shoes but few make a basic pump these days. I love these because they go with SLink feet (basically any shoes I buy these days so, gotta be honest) and they match a ton of looks, even with jeans and stuff. There are lots of colors too. Check them out at LVLE.
The little food set up is free from Poche. I pretty much just put it there because I feel obligated at this point to have food with my shoe posts. Also, it's free. And it's from Poche so you know its good quality and original mesh. Om nom nom. I've never had mincemeat pie but I might try it for Poche.

A Bit Late...
...well, more than a bit. It's been quite some time since I have had these pictures done and way before then that I purchased the items. Sigh. My internet issues have gotten to the point where I can barely get online, let alone take pictures in SL. Anyway, I wanted to do a giant post with lots of food-shoe combos, since they are my favorite for some strange reason lol, but I will just do these two for now. I love the items and I can't wait forever. :P
First I have some adorable shoes from Beetlebones. They are SLink add-ons, as are most of the shoes I buy these days. I got them in this sort of peachy-pink color but there are lots of other colors available. I paired them with these macaroons from Circa because I thought the colors looked nice together and I thought they would both be nice at a cute little garden party or something, haha. I realize now I messed up the texture of the tray for the macaroons in the photo but I can't fix it now. :x
Next I have these shoes from Hucci. I remember on Plurk the designer saying she was meh about people posting her items after they had been released for more than two weeks, and I know lots of designers feel that way, but I just really like them and wanted to post them anyway. Look at the invisible wedges with the flowers inside! How cute is that?? These are SLink add-ons as well so sorry for those who don't use them, two in one post, I know. Other colors of these are available also. Since these shoes are kind of far out I paired them with the most classic of cookies I could think of, the chocolate chip. Also from Circa!! I adore Circa's furniture but the food...oh, the food...it captures my heart.
OK, hopefully I will get my internet situation figured out and be back to regular posting soon. Until then,

Question Time!
No pictures today, just chatting.
I am sitting here all bummed out because I feel so self-conscious about my blogging skills. I know I will feel better soon enough but I get into my moods. Anyway, it got me wondering if I am the only one who feels this way. Anyone else? Like I look at the feeds and some people are so awesome with their photograph taking skills, their graphics are amazing, and/or they are great at Photoshop. So jealous! I'm not asking for compliments or critique or anything, I am just chatting about feelings like an emo gal right now. xD
In sort of the same subject, how do you feel about Photoshopping pictures? Do you love it, hate it, or are in between? Do you use post-processing on your photos, if you are a blogger or photographer in SL?
What makes a good photo to you? What do you think you can improve on?
That's a million questions, sorry. LOL. If you want to comment you can post replies here or write about it on your own blog and link below. :D I'm curious to see what people have to say!

Team Free Will- Gender Swap Style
"Dad's on a hunting trip and he hasn't been home in a few days." That line is the beginning of the very wild ride that is Supernatural. Once that line is spoken it all begins. Thinking back on it after all the seasons so far almost gives me the chills. The show really impressed me from the very beginning, that line hooking me, and I haven't been able to get away from it yet.
When I really love something like a show, a movie, a song, a book, I always want to incorporate it somehow into my daily life, to enjoy it on a different level. My thirtieth birthday party was Harry Potter themed, for example. For Supernatural I wondered what it would be like if the main characters were female, rather than male, and an idea formed.
I thought it might be fun to get my pal Alice Demonia together to do a photo as a female Castiel with me, while I did a female Dean Winchester. Then I thought it would be fun to do a Sam. Then, hey, how about more? Gwin LeShelle, Helena Stringer, and Arora Zanzibar joined in on the fun. Arora, who made a look for Bobby, was unable to do the shoot with us but I am hoping she will join me for a separate post since her look is so good!!
The photo below was taken by Gwin. I messed with it in Gimp a little but you can see the original on her blog, which will be linked below. The original is probably a lot better but I am always messing with things in Gimp, I can't help it. LOL.
The photo below was taken by Helena Stringer, who has recently joined me as co-owner of the Free*Style blog. It's a different angle so you can see more of the looks. It ended up downloading really small for me so argh but even at the size I can tell I am super jealous of her computer's graphics. D:
I had a ton of fun doing this shoot and I hope we can do more photos together in the future, and maybe even get some more folks in on the action. I'm so excited!!!
With my look I thought a while about what a female Dean might wear. I decided to keep the basic fashion style the same, utilitarian but classic, rough, cool. I decided that a female version would still be slightly vain and would want cute hair, even if it had to be pulled back some in case of fighting and such. I wasn't able to find a good replica of his necklace but I found something close enough and tinted it slightly more gold. I finished it off with a sawed off shotgun, probably filled with silver bullets or rock salt or something, and a clean and fresh, but slightly flushed, skin from Birdy. Slurls and all details below!
You can find all the details of Gwin's Sam look HERE and Helena's Rufus look HERE. I'll try to bother Alice for the details of her Castiel look at some point too. :P If they haven't done the posts by the time I post this please check their blogs later. I will update with direct links as soon as I can.

Poses?
I think I might start showing poses specifically in posts, instead of occasionally crediting them as part of a whole look like I normally do. So, I am going to have a go at it.
These sets are from Pretense, a new name for the designs from Gidge Uriza, formerly of Status Poses. I took these photos bare bones, completely unedited (aside from the combining the photos in Gimp.) all the jagged bits are there. I wore simple bodysuits to show how the avatar looks when it moves. I wore a long, mesh, hair so you could see how the poses looks with that too.
I know the pictures aren't fancy but since a pose is the base of every fashion post I thought I should show it at the complete basics, without being totally bald and nude.
Worn:
All Photos:
Hair: Alice Project
Skin and Feet Appliers: Essences
Feet: SLink
Poses: Status*
Green Bodysuit: Titzuki
Cream Lingerie: Ooh La La
*Some of the poses are in the main store and some are at events. I am in a hurry today and can't check everything but please check the store for more information. Bag and phone come with the pose sets shown with them.

Hopping For Nails
Next nail post!!! This time I want to show some things from Hopscotch. These are just a few of the nails. All of her nails are adorable and most are themed in some sort of cute way. There are several colors/styles in each set. These are for the SLink Avatar Enhancement version nails *only* so keep that in mind. Here we go!
Check out the Hopscotch marketplace shop HERE or the in world store HERE. There are lots more styles to see!

Nail-splosion- Matte
It's an explosion of nails!! I want to show some nails for the SLink Avatar Enhancement versions of the rigged mesh hands and nails from some brands I have a lot of stuff from. That's poor grammar, I know. Just like...deal with it. Haha!
The first brand I am showing today is Matte by Cora Pomilio. Have a peek! (Prepare for picture spam-ishness. I put a cut in the middle that will hopefully prevent this from exploding the feeds.)
More below the cut.

Pros and Cons of UglyDorothy
So, I love My UglyDorothy skins. I rarely pay more than 500L for skins these days but I love this store enough to pay full price. That's rare for me since I make skins, haha. I do have a small issue with the skins this time, however.
The problem isn't the skins themselves; the skins are gorgeous. My problem is with the purchasing system. Here is how it works, in case you go to buy and are confused:
First, you buy the body in the tone you want, in this case I chose tone one since I am a pale freak in RL and I tend to stay close to that when purchasing, most of the time anyway. When you get the pack, for 1000L, you receive the skin and mesh feet. The skin has no face, unless you want your face to look like this:
After that you go to the other wall and choose a face in the tone that matches the body you bought, for 250L. This face is on a tattoo layer and has some options for brow colors, teeth or no teeth, etc. With the face I bought it looks like this now:
Obviously this is an improvement. I really, really like the look. The problem I have with this is now I have taken up at least one tattoo layer to even have a face at all. I wear a ton of tattoo layers so losing one is annoying. The upside of this system, however, is that when I want a new makeup I will, I believe, only have to pay 250L, rather than than paying a full 1000L for an entire new skin. I like that a lot! I just wish that the skin that was originally purchased would have some sort of face on it, even if it's sort of a weird option or something.
One other thing I love about the shop is they now have appliers for the SLink mesh hands. YAY! I rarely want to buy skins these days that don't have appliers so for the extra 100L, making the price total 1350L, I got exactly the type of skin set I wanted, aside from the tattoo layer issue.
MyUglyDorothy is HERE.
The swimsuit is only 1L from HERE, includes Lush and Lola appliers.

Stop Charging For Demos on the Marketplace
No, seriously. Stop. It's not about the 1L or 2L or whatever, it's about the fact that it's not cool to pay for the "privilege" or *maybe* buying your item. Cut the crap. I rarely, actually almost never, buy from stores who charge for demos. Neither does Isabeau. (Sorry for calling you out the fellow blogger, haha.) Neither do a lot of people on Plurk. Is the 1L you make off of a demo worth the potential lost customers?
Love,
Sileny
P.S.- I've heard all of the excuses and none of them are good enough. It's even worse in world to charge for demos but there are one or two excuses for that that are *sort of* legit. Marketplace? Nope.

Smudge
More Goth Fair!!! You have a little over a week left to hit the World Goth Fair. I keep hearing people say they don't want to go because they aren't goth but omg there are so many great things!! Like this dress from Volstead, for example, is shown here in classic black lace but there are other colors too! Does not have to be style "goth" at all. I wore this dress with the group gift earrings from Ladies Who Lunch and a necklace from Lassitude & Ennui, to give it a more vintage feel. Of course I added lots of other darker items (like this incredible skin!!!) to make it spooky like I like though. ;D More information below!
Worn:
Dress: Volstead @ World Goth Fair, charity donation item
Earrings: Ladies Who Lunch, group gift (500L join fee)
Necklace: Lassitude & Ennui
Skull: Half Deer @ World Goth Fair, 100% donation item, other colors included (meant to be worn but I rezzed it for the photo instead)
Skin: Jalwa @ World Goth Fair, 100% charity donation item! (Includes multiple brow options, cleavage option, and even SLINK AVATAR ENHANCEMENT APPLIERS for the feet and hands. I can't tell you how much of a bonus getting the appliers with a skin purchase is to me!)
Hair: Shag (does not include the bangs, see below)
Bangs Attachment: Alice Project @ Fameshed (comes with the "Disna" hairstyle)

Psycho For Psyko
I will be the first to say that I suck at painting. I LOVE painting. I try so freaking hard. Sometimes something passable will come out of it but, in general, I am a miserable painter. Thankfully I found this cool website called Psykopaint that lets you make your photos into painting-type things. Mine still...is...not good. LOL. But I think I will get better! Anyway, this is what I did so far:
Basically you upload a photo, or select one of the photos they already have ready, and you can choose a different style to paint in. The styles are based on famous artists like Degas, Van Gogh, etc. I know you can do a lot of this stuff in Photoshop but some of us don't have $1k to buy it and won't steal it. xD So this is fun. :P Below is the original picture:
I know, the original is better than the painting one, so why bother? Haha. Oh, well. I had fun. :P Check out Psykopaint HERE if you want to try it out. I found it's easier to do flowers and animals and stuff so I will probably stick to those from now on.

A Fair Goth
I have been waiting excitedly for World Goth Fair for what seems like ages. Now that it's here I am overwhelmed with all the awesome and had a hard time deciding where to start with the blogging! Ah! I decided to show something from Paper Moon first because I recently posted an item of theirs from the past Fantasy Faire and this is SO DIFFERENT that I thought it would be fun to show a totally other side of the brand.
This mesh dress comes with different prints on the front, all from classic works of art in a dark, gothic style, and used *legally*, unlike so many other stores who just grab whatever they want from whichever artist they want without permission. (Stares for an uncomfortably long time at the art-snatchers who may be reading this.) Each dress comes with information about the work of art featured as well, which made me really happy because I loved that little dose of history with my fashion!
My skin is from La Petite Morte at Goth Fair. This is from the skin line called Ophelia. There is a version with heavier eye makeup that is a 50% donation item as well. It seriously feels like just yesterday that this store started making skins, even though it has been a while now, and seeing them just get better and better each release is so exciting!! My hair is from a newish-to-me store called Due and it's mesh and I love it, even though it didn't fit my bean-shaped head all that well. :P I did a post on Free*Style with a free hair from there HERE as well. My necklace is from Draconic Kiss and is also a 50% donation item at Goth Fair. I am so afraid of spiders in RL (and obviously super afraid of poisonous ones like a black widow!) but in SL they are just fine!
All details and such below!
Worn:
Dress: Paper Moon @ World Goth Fair, other versions available as well
Skin: La Petite Morte @ World Goth Fair, 699L donation item
Necklace: Draconic Kiss @ World Goth Fair, 50% donation item, gems are texture change
Hair: Due
Eyes: Insufferable Dastard

Meow
I usually do fashion type posts for people but today it's for pets! I just love these little Lolita-esque sunglasses from KittyCats. This is a MegaPuss size, which means it's big enough to ride around on, and the sunglasses fit her! They fit the smaller cats too, of course. I just wish they weren't full bright, but other than that I have a lot of fun playing with the accessories for these cats.
OK, sorry for the totally random post, I just love my KittyCats. xD

Back It Up
I take so many close-ups, side shots and frontal shots I figured it was time to just do it from the back. *Immature giggle*
I like these pants from Somnia because I wish I could wear super full pants in RL but I can't because I am short and chubby and it looks stupid. :P This tank top from Cargo, with its back zipper, is great for reverse shots. My piano scarf, which admittedly you can't see that well here so oops, is a past Arcade gacha item from Fatewear that I adore because I have one almost exactly the same in RL. It's my fave wintertime item so yay for having it in SL!
Worn:
Shirt: Cargo
Pants: Somnia @ 100 Block, currently only 95L per set, price will raise after the event
Skin: Tuli
Hands/Feet/Ballet Shoes: SLink
Scarf: Fatewear
*More about the 100 Block event HERE

Quick and Casual
Just wanted to share this casual, romantic look from Paper Moon for Fantasy Faire this morning. This outfit has so many pieces and I have not shown them all here even. Here I am wearing the headpiece, the belt, the skirt, and the bonus eye makeup (from M.O.C.K. Cosmetics) but you can also get a top and rings as well. I had a problem with the alpha layer for the skirt so I made my own. Not sure if it was my own problem or if it was an actual mistake so I sent the creator a note about it. I'll update this post when I get more info.! Other than that I really like this outfit, especially the belt! More details below. EDIT: The alpha is fixed and the creator is super nice and awesome. Support nice creators! :D

Funtimes, Funtimes
I did this look just sort of randomly and I really ended up loving it. I find myself very attracted to the cute-fashion-macabre looks and I think this covers that pretty well. The mouth attachment from Contraption can pretty much make any look incredibly creepy. There is a frown, neutral, and smile version in the package with sizes for male and female and also a bloody layer, which I am not wearing.
My dress is from Hate Me and Eat Me for the Couturier's Docks. The belt is a separate attachment and is therefore optional. The dress only comes in two size options and they will not fit every shape, especially if it is very full-figured, so please try the demo first to avoid potential frustration.
More info. below!
Worn:
Dress w/Belt: Hate Me and Eat Me @ The Couturier's Docks, limited amount of copies available. Red and white versions also for sale.
Mouth: Contraption @ Fantasy Faire (opens 6am SLT)
Hair w/Color-Change Bow: Catwa
Skin: My UglyDorothy, 1L (will be retired very soon so go now)
Nails: Nemezi, 1L
Eyes: A.D.D. Andel, past hunt gift, not sure if still for sale anywhere
Eyeliner: Musa @ Fantasy Faire
*I didn't include slurls to Fantasy Faire because it doesn't open for a few hours and that would be rude of me. The links will take you to the website which should be updated with that stuff soon though!

Paper
If you ever feel the need to let out some of your feelings about having to do too much paperwork and want to do so in SL then you can grab some of the pose props from Hopscotch and make it happen! The poses I am showing today are meant to be used as couples poses but I thought they worked just as well for photos when used with just one avatar. When you are a lonely hermit like me and don't want to bug anyone to take photos with you then that is an important quality in a pose prop. :P If the other pose ball still shows up just right click- edit- texture- transparency 100% to make it invisible. If you need to find it later you can just use ctrl+alt+t to highlight transparent objects. My dress is from Cupcakes and is super adorable. It comes in mesh standard sizes and there are other color/pattern options available in the store. I am looking forward to their next mesh releases!
My shoes are from Fashionably Dead and were for the gacha at The Arcade. The socks can be removed and there is a note card in the package that describes how to do that. Not sure if they are still available. More details below!
Worn:
Poses w/Paper Items: Hopscotch @ Pose Fair 2013 Check the store blog HERE for photos of the rest of the Paperman-inspired items, as well as more items offered at the fair.
Dress: Cupcakes
Hair: Exile, past gift
Shoes: Fashionably Dead, gacha item from past Arcade. I can't find them in the store so they might not be available anymore, or they might just not be put out yet.

Food and Shoes
I love both food and shoes and combining them for eating and wearing isn't generally a good idea so have some photos instead!
The first pair of shoes is from Dilly Dolls. Original mesh, lots of colors available, awesome as always. She tends to do items in color options for everyone, from dark, goth colors to sweet, pastel colors. You can pretty much find any color you want. My food choice here is the pizza from Scarlet Apple currently at Collabor88. What can I say, I love pizza. It has steam coming off of it inworld but I turned particles off for the photo out of habit so you can't see it here.
The second pair you probably already have and know about but when I thought burger and fries I thought drive-in rollerskating waitress. They are from The Secret Store, there are a million colors, they were for The Arcade but that is over now. My burger and fries (and cute little ketchup packets!) are from Pilot and were a past FLF item. So cute!!
OK, back to taking more pictures of shoes. I really love shoes and it is time I gave them some more love. More details below!
Worn:
Heels: Dilly Dolls, lots of color options and packs available
Roller Skates: The Secret Store, gacha from past Arcade, not sure if still available but I will check when I log in next and update then.
Burger Meal: Pilot
Pizza: Scarlet Apple @ Collabor88 (ends today I think)
Leggings: Sn@tch
Stocking: Sheer
Skin: Not available

You Have Undies on Your Cupcakes.
Cupcakes has a new skin line out called Creampuff. They had an older line with the same name but believe me, it's different and much improved this time around. There are so many options with this new line I really can't even begin to photo them all without spending all day doing it. I am just going to show you some more basic options so you can have an idea of what to expect.
First I wanted to show one of the darker tones called Tiramisu. The skin I am wearing is shown with the "unlined eyes" tattoo layer option as well as the "lips concealed" lipstick layer. I felt that wearing the two together gave a very nice, clean option for those who prefer natural looks.
Next I wanted to show one of the lightest tones called Sugar. This is also a fairly natural look but I added some minimal makeup to give it a sort of bedroom-sweet appeal. I wore the no brow version of the skin with tattoo layers for flushed cheeks, freckles, and a basic eyeliner.
All skins come with the natural skin in six eyebrow options, shape, appliers for Lola's, and tattoo layers in the following choices: freckles, flushed cheeks, unlined eyes, facial contour, enhanced cleavage, pink lip, rose lip, concealed lip, and peach lip. Wowza! Also available for purchase are packs of lipsticks, eye makeups, and eyes to match. This really is a lot! There are seven tones available for this line.
One other new thing I have found out about Cupcakes is that they have stopped doing full perm mesh and will also be discontinuing their skin templates (with the exception of the rare, limited edition ones.) This is big news!
OK, off I go for now! Check the details below for more info. on the other item.
Worn:
Skins and Eyes: Cupcakes
First Hair: Clawtooth by Clawtooth @ Collabor88
Second Hair: Fashionably Dead @ Collabor88
Corset: Sn@tch

My Top Five Pet Peeves
So Strawberry Singh did a post HERE asking what our top five pet peeves in SL are. I have a zillion annoyances, lol, but these are the ones off the top of my head. Let's go!
1. People who don't link their post directly in Flickr and just link to the blog in general. Like instead of putting "Posted here: http://brokebypayday.blogspot.com/2013/03/working.html" they would just put "Posted here: http://brokebypayday.blogspot.com/ ." That frustrates me. If I see a post I would like to read and see that it just has the main link I will just close it out and remember not to bother next time I see a post from them. I know I could look through or look in the history or whatever but I don't want to have to work to see a post when there are plenty of easy, nice ones out there. EDIT: I know that there is a rule about URLs in Flick but if someone is already posting a URL to their blog then they might as well post the direct link. :P
2. People who put things in Flickr groups that don't belong. I understand accidentally doing it once in a while but when people do it regularly it just makes them look like a lazy attention hog. Mass adding is gross people! When I notice it is a regular thing for people in my groups I just block them.
3. People who do a full look on their fashion blog and only credit one thing. I understand wanting to keep things to yourself but why bother doing a full body outfit shot if you are only crediting the hair? I am not going to bother commenting to ask where you got something and waiting for a response that might never come. Lame.
4. Creators who don't read their note cards but still write responses assuming they know what is in them. I would rather someone not respond to me at all than to assume that just because I am a blogger I am writing to them asking for free things. Deoridhe wrote a post HERE along those lines. I had a similar experience a bit ago where I contacted the CSR for a store via notecard, like the creator's profile asked, and the CSR wrote me a rude IMing about not asking for blog review copies. my note wasn't about blogging or review copies at all. It put me off of the entire store in general.
5. People who copy & paste or screenshot things to people from private messages or plurks that really don't need to be. For example, I once made a private Plurk to a few people I thought were my close friends just letting off steam about someone who had frustrated me with their comments in a different Plurk. Once I let the steam off I was fine, done, no more complaining about the person and it was over. Never would have affected the person I was talking about in any way. Next thing I know, the person I was crabbing about is sending me messages telling me they got screen shots of what I said, it was messed up, etc. What was the point of my so called friend doing that? It didn't do anything but hurt me, hurt the person they told, and cause drama. Friend should be able to vent to friends, as long as they aren't spreading false rumors, without fear of retribution. I still am friends with whoever ratted me out, and I would still be even if I knew who it was that told, but they never did so I will never know who it was and *that* hurts more than anything. Yes, I know, don't say anything on the internet you don't want to spread to everyone else, but that is just fucked up.
Anyway, enough bitching. No photos because I don't want pictures related to complaining, haha. These are just my opinions for the day so don't be mad at me please. :x

Working
The worst part of working on something all day is when you try to sit down and relax you still see the task every time you close your eyes. I feel like the shadow angle here (one of the Bryn Oh ones on firestorm, I can't remember which) makes it look like, even though the avatar has her eyes closed and is taking a break from work, the shadow of herself is still concentrated on working.
Today is a break from things for me in a way so I am keeping the writing to a minimum and will just let you read the details below.
Details:
Blouse w/Tango appliers included: Sn@tch, part of a pack
Black corset part: Blacklace, free as part of a hunt gift lingerie set
Skirt: The Sea Hole @ The Arcade, gacha item
Socks: Dirty Lynx
Skin, Hair, Head: Fashionably Dead
Table and Pot: Post, part of FLF from yesterday
Eggs: Schadenfreude , part of FLF from yesterday
Collar: Lassitude & Ennui @ L'accessoires

A Sleepless Night
Well, who could sleep really when they have a corset on? But ignore that thought because it's a picture and it has a night time feel and shhhh I am tired. :P
My corset is one of three colors from Lassitude&Ennui for the Adore&Abhor 5 year anniversary celebration. I was on vacation so I didn't get to put an item out and I missed the start of it (which made me SUPER SAD) but it's still going on and there are so many great deals so check it out! My collar is also from L&E and is available at the L'Accessoires event. It's romantic and lovely as L&E does perfectly. I added an underwear set from Sn@tch (an older item but still good!) that also had the romance vibe going on to match. More details below!
Worn:
Corset: Lassitude&Ennui @ Adore&Abhor anniversary, other colors available
Collar: Lassitude&Ennui @ L'Accessories, other colors available
Lingerie: Sn@tch, several colors included in the pack w/transfer permissions
Hair: Analog Dog
Skin and Eyes: YS & YS, past TDR item, not sure if this exact skin is available in the store
Stitched Eyebrows: Miss Shippe's Studio

Red March
I got this dress from Valentina E. for Zodiac and it is incredibly sexy. I wanted to add some cute to the look so I added this hood from BCC at the Arcade and this skin from Pink Fuel for the Adore&Abhor anniversary and, voila!, a sexy red riding hood look for the day.
I should note that in SL I could not get the hood to work over the dress and hair without parts of both poking through it. I edited it in Gimp because I really loved how the items looked together but just know that if you want to wear both inworld together you might not be able to get it to work.
Details:
Dress: Valentina E. @ Zodiac, other colors available
Hood: BCC @ The Arcade, gacha item
Skin: Pink Fuel @ The Adore&Abhor anniversary celebration, 75L
Eyeliner: Mons @ Marketplace, 1L
Hair: Alice Project
Nails: Leverocci, 30L

Make More Shadowboxes :3
People need to make more shadowboxes in general but especially incorporated into furniture, like this table set from Circa for the Lavender Hill Hunt. I forgot how much I loved them until I got these and then I was all WHY DON'T PEOPLE DO THIS MORE OFTEN!? I suppose people don't do it too much because the land impact result is usually frightening but I generally will make room for one or two high LI items in my house and leave the rest low impact. At 35 LI for the tall table and 25 for the short table it's a big chunk of my meager prims but I love this so much that at least one of them will stay in my house for sure.
Why do I like these so much, you may ask, since they are simply tables with little trees in them? Well, that is wrong. It's more than trees. Look at the close up below:
FRICKIN' BUTTERFLIES FLAPPING AROUND INSIDE IT. There are trees and hills and butterflies and a tiny well and a bird and grass and fog and yeah I love it. :P If you are a shadowbox lover like me then I suggest you get this fast because the hunt they are available in will be over March 10th. Run!! The items are 5L and there are two objects to find to get the complete set. Go to Circa HERE to snag them.
I should also mention that I do not have shadows on in this picture. Those amazing shadows are courtesy of my new skybox from Apple Fall. In fact, this entire photo is unedited, aside from cropping and a little framing. So cool!

Worms
A bazillion while ago I told the owner of Squeek! that she should make some worms. I don't exactly remember the context but it happened somehow. The other day she was all "Hey remember when you said I should make worms? Well, I finally did!" I did a little happy chair dance which seems sort of odd when you consider I am happy about mouth worms but it's SL so hey. :P
My gorgeous to the max top is from Fameshed from Valentina E. You can't see it that well but it's cropped and red and mesh and awesome. Because it's sort of loose and flow-y it doesn't come with an alpha so, if you ca, make sure it fits you first! My skin was a marketplace special from Pulse skins and it was cheap and limited time only I think so grab it before it's gone. More item details below!
Worn:
Skin: Pulse, 200L marketplace special
Shirt: Valentina E. @ Fameshed
Lipstick Tattoo Layer: Aimi, 7L
Hair: Exile
Necklaces: Lassitude & Ennui @ Shop Free*Style, free, includes more colors too
Worms: Squeek!, 25L gacha priza
White Prim Eye: By Snow, 1L
Button Neck Tattoo: Mes Petites Coutures, 1L
Eye Makeup: Chelle @ Shop Free*Style, 50L part of a pack of lots of colors
