Neon and Gifts?

  Wow much creative title.  Oh well, haha, don't judge a book by it's cover? A blog post by it's title? Hmm. Maybe I should work on that one. Anyway.

New Kane

  I bought this dress and hair and when I was trying my new purchases on I was in love; however, I had to admit I look like I could be a modern cutesy version of the villain from Poltergeist. I decided to embrace it. I am always one to appreciate a creepy-cute look.

  Can we all just admit if you were a child in the 80s/early 90s that the reverend from Poltergeist scared the crap out of us? Or was it just my mom that let me watch scary movies? Either way, aaahh!

Still Here!

  So far so good! Still in SL, still living life, things are looking good! I am not quite finished figuring out exactly how I want my shape to be but I am getting closer.  I like this skin I got from Glam Affair a lot though and this lipstick and mascara from Stellar make me feel like a cool chick. I really like how mesh heads work these days, with being able to adjust the opacity of things. I was able to adjust this matte lip to give it that lightly rubbed off, stained feel. I like that a lot. 
  Anyway, Just a look of the day.  I got invited to do some guest blogging for a blog I have read for years and years in SL and I am pretty pumped so I look forward to announcing that soon! Ciao!

Working

  The worst part of working on something all day is when you try to sit down and relax you still see the task every time you close your eyes.  I feel like the shadow angle here (one of the Bryn Oh ones on firestorm, I can't remember which) makes it look like, even though the avatar has her eyes closed and is taking a break from work, the shadow of herself is still concentrated on working.
  Today is a break from things for me in a way so I am keeping the writing to a minimum and will just let you read the details below.

D'awww, Grumpy Bunny

I just felt adorable in my tiny av from D-Lab and had to take a photo.  Look at my grumpy little mouth. D:  (I totally said that in baby talk inside my head.  Life fail.)

I love everything about this little guy except sometimes the AO gets weird and your legs like detach from your body.  I like to think that's on purpose maybe though since it is kind of adorable and cartoon-y, haha.  There are male and female versions and a sheep version as well.  It was out for 50L Friday but since it is Sunday now it's probably back to regular price, I am guessing.  They are trans for gift-giving so you are your loved one can hop around together, hehe.

Hey, At Least I Got a Photo

So I have crashed so many times in SL lately.  I am having computer issues plus SL is being a butt to lots of people in general.  I managed to get a photo of my outfit of the day though so even if it isn't what I planned on blogging, and the photo is kind of small, at least I get to blog something cute!  Very little of this is new but I adore it all so maybe you will too!  Credits and info. below. :D

Neutral Can be Good

So when it comes to opinions I often roll my eyes at people who claim to be neutral on many topics;however, when we're talking about neutral colors I am pretty pleased with the subject today. I love this mesh dress from Tulip for Fifty Linden Friday.  It moves well and the shading is great.  I was sitting here being happy about my paper airplanes necklace from Hate Me and Eat Me when I saw another folded paper themed item from Elate! fly into my inbox.  The owner of Elate! is back after successfully battling cancer and I am so, so happy to hear that.  Welcome back!!

My hair is from Esk-Imo at Hair Fair.  I love black hair the most so I am wearing that but this store has some good colors, even the dip-dyed colors people have been loving lately.  This style is sculpt and flex but they also have mesh styles at the fair for those who only wear mesh now.  My earring is also from Hate Me and Eat Me.  Of course it comes with 2 earrings in the set but I only felt like wearing one. :P  My skin is not available since it is a work in progress and not done because I am a slow skin maker. D:

I Am In the Will Whether You Like It Or Not.

The new set from Adore & Abhor for Fifty Linden Friday is making me squee times ten. I love 1. black 2. jackets 3. anything relating to funerals (except for the part about the dead person) and 4. vintage-style mesh hats, so the new jacket and head piece, called I'm In The Will, makes me hap-hap-happy!I think it looks straight up awesome with the Dinner at 8 dress from Sn@tch. Unfortunately this dress is no longer available in black, but you can get it in plenty of other colors.
