Yeah, I've got a serious love thing for the new line of dark skins from Adam n Eve. They're my absolute favorite skins to date. There are 4 tones available from a buttery toffee to a deep, dark chocolate, all of which are expertly made and absolutely beautiful. (This is tone 3.) There's an awesome selection of makeups and I love them all, which *never* happens. (My weaknesses are natural skins and skins with red red lips, and this skin has both!)

I also love my Clawtooth hair, and this Haven Designs dress I picked up a few weeks ago, and this dainty jewelry from Monkee and... and... Yeah, I'm just in love with everything.

Umeko Love!

My pal grabbed the free Umeko skin from Imabee and was all :O:O:O I need more! She bought both fat packs right away. This is the power of the Imabee skin. Once you get a taste you always want more!The skin gets lots of raves for its fabulous cleavage layers but not enough about the cute butt! Look at that behind! I feel like a pin-up :DThere are lots of options for this skin, from light to dark brows, freckled and not freckled, as well as the cleavage layers on shirt and undershirt layers.My favorite tone is "stem" which I am wearing here. I also am wearing the light brows option and have switched back and forth between freckled and not. "Kitteh" for a Day

Sanura Snowpaw of *Dreams* tossed me this outfit (the result of a collaboration between Sanura and Ivey Deschanel of Sn@tch) and I dug the purple-y goodness so much, I figured I'd give the neko thing a shot.
Captain Kitty comes with the adorable hat/ear combo, scripted tail, and a complete outfit. It can be worn a variety of ways and has several layer options. It's only 275L for the whole shebang, and it's a 100% donation item.
I paired it with cute candy-adorned flats and a diamond studded ring from Glitter Trash, and piercings from Lolapop! which have scripted tintable pieces. The posture collar came with 2 attachment points, so it was easy to wear with a jacket collar!

Last Dance, Last Chance

I'm a little sad. LionSkins is discontinuing the Cana line of skins. Though a total of 6 skin lines will be gone tomorrow, Cana was the first line of skins in SL that I really loved. I bought up the regular makeups and the more... Unconventional? Theatrical? Whatever. I bought everything.

Though I usually wore pale skins, I really fell in love with the dark tone. Sometimes darker skins in SL are no more than a poorly tinted dark tan, or you can appear greyish, purplish, or worse... a sickly sort of greenish. I loved the dark Cana skins, and I wear them frequently.



Today (Sunday) is the very last day they'll be available. As of Monday, they'll be gone forever. Grab them now, while you can, for a measly 200 Ls each. (Forbidden, Noir, Dollhouse, Zulu, and Su are available for 150-200Ls too, and are also being retired forever as of Monday.)

A Quickie

Well hello there! I know I've been MIA for a while. I lost my mind and decided to become a content creator. Or is it the other way around? Either way, it's exhausting.
I've been kind of stressed (is it me or is SL being particularly ornery lately?) and ripping my hair out. I need to relax!

I headed up to my sky box and jumped on this break dancing pad from Agent Orange. I consider it to be one of the best hunt gifts ever. It's so entertaining.
I love these socks. I have rainbow toe socks like this in my first life, and I squeed when I found them in SL. What's life without a little color and whimsy?
My friend Sanura dropped these jeans on me today, and when I tried them on I actually thanked her for not showing 6" of visible crack. Remember kids, CRACK IS WACK.

Before I give you my style notes, I wanted to thank the pose makers and animators of SL. Without you I wouldn't look nearly as cute or as glamorous while wearing my pretty clothes, I wouldn't have the break dancing mat that makes me smile, and without an AO I'd be stuck in the default SL muppet stalk, trotting around like I've got a stick up my bum. So thank you for the hard work you put in to each pose and animation. I'm happy to put in the extra half second of effort it takes to credit you on my blog.

Fastest Blog Post Ever!

I was trying on my new CriCri hair and my new Idiosyncrasy dollarbie skin at the same time and went :O I love this look! And then I put on my new outfit from Sn@tch and well it took about 30 seconds for me to say I gotta blog this!
If I had skinny midriff in RL I would totally sport this look. I could never get my eye makeup this smokey perfect though!

Such Lovely Beads

I was in an earth tone mood today. I put on soft, calm colors, but my outfit was a little too calm. It needed something, so I started looking for some eye-catching jewelry.
The Boho Birdie set from Sable Rose was just the thing to punch up my ensemble, and it was a total steal. It's currently on SL Daily Deals for only 250Ls. (It's normally 300Ls by itself, but today you can get 4 jewelry sets in one pack for 250Ls!)
I love the dainty earrings and awesome cuffs, but the necklace is my favorite. If I had it in first life, I'd play with the beads, endlessly twirling them in my fingers. The set is fully modifiable, but the necklace fit me like a glove. It's probably the most perfect-fitting jewelry set I've ever owned.

I've let myself get so casual in SL, forgoing dresses in favor of jeans and tee shirts or hoodies with sneakers. I'd almost forgotten how much I like to dress up.

The Weston Swishy Skirts from Vanita's Vesture are hands down one of my favorite pieces in SL. They're fantastically made, and I love how they lay and how they move. I paired it with one of the new Fling blouses from Sn@tch, which is just so pretty in a rich purple.
Speaking of purple, the jewelry I'm wearing is today's 69L item from [Monkee] (formerly DM Designs.) It's a total steal at that price, and worth picking up if you haven't already. (It'll be out until Thursday morning.)

The Rebekah heels from Nardcotix may be my new favorite pair of shoes. I wear them as often as I can, frequently pairing them with lingerie when I go to work at RD. They're simple, elegant, perfect.

Rock the Cradle of Love

I've wanted a denim miniskirt in SL for a while, so when Sn@tch released a whole pack of them, I made them mine. An image popped in my head of an 80's ensemble, and I just had to make it happen.

The pieces came together slowly but surely, and I'm quite happy with the result.
The "Boots of Fate" are another new release from Sn@tch this week, and they fit perfectly into the look I was trying to achieve. They're kickass pointy snake skin boots. Awesome.
I needed big hair, so Sileny directed me to Nouveau Miranda, where I found a big big hairstyle worthy of my Aqua Net fume-inspired dreams. I added a Cana skin with bold makeup and accessorized accordingly (leather, rhinestones, and crosses, oh my.)

And the pièce de résistance? The Isabeau bodice from Haven Designs, which was released this week. The detailing on the front and back is simply awesome, and it comes in 6 colors including a silver! No, I'm not partial at all...

Billy Idol, I'm ready to run away with you. Call me.

I'm not on break...

I'm not usually a full ensemble type of gal, nor do I claim to be a fashionista. I admit I'm more functional than fashionable. I sort of throw something together and if my bits are covered, I'm happy. Sometimes I think I look cute; other times I'm just "meh."
