  I bought this dress and hair and when I was trying my new purchases on I was in love; however, I had to admit I look like I could be a modern cutesy version of the villain from Poltergeist. I decided to embrace it. I am always one to appreciate a creepy-cute look.

  Can we all just admit if you were a child in the 80s/early 90s that the reverend from Poltergeist scared the crap out of us? Or was it just my mom that let me watch scary movies? Either way, aaahh!

Skin Fair Closing Soon- Part Two

  Hi all!  I have a second post here to show something from Skin Fair before it closes, in case you haven't been there yet and are looking for suggestions.
  The skin here is from Iren.  I liked the look of this tan tone, which is weird because I normally go pale.  There are plenty of tones to choose from in the Iren brand so if you like pale, tan, dark, or in between you can find something to suit you.  There are lots of new faces out from Iren at the fair but I liked this one, Barbara, the most.  I m wearing the no brow here with a tattoo layer eyebrow from a different brand.  I wanted to show the brow version of this skin because it is straight up epic but SL kept crashing before i could get a photo.  Just trust me, it's pretty fab. Well, actually, you can check out the designer's photo HERE for a better idea, though I personally think they look even cooler inworld.

  This skin comes with a ton of options.  One thing is that not only do you get appliers for Phat Azz, SLink hands & feet, and Lola, you also get the brand's own mesh hands!  So if you are a person that doesn't want to go buy the SLink ones to get a perfect skin match you can still rock the mesh hands.  Woo!

Yay puns! I am so excited for Marleen Vaughn, the creator of now-closed Marly's, to be creating again. Some of the very first items I bought in SL were from Marly's so it was sad to see it close a while back. Thankfully she has reopened with Vaughan's House of Curiosities and the items are better than ever!This is juts a quick snap of one of the items available. I will certainly be sharing more!! I love the quirkiness and the retro vibe, something that makes me feel like a person wearing Vaughan's might have been buddies with Dali. Love!

I never thought I would wear a shirt with prim boobs. Let's be real here and say that most stores selling prim boob clothing are...skanky. I'm not saying these shirts from Violent Seduction are for black tie events or anything but they sure are cute, haha!Anyway, the shirts are fairly easy to fit, the underboob is easy to tint and if you already own skins by Violent Seduction then they match perfectly right off the bat. Hybie and I did a sort of trailer park theme for kicks but really you can wear this to clubs, for photos or any sort of naughty fashion-requiring event.

New releases from Violent Seduction and Blue Blood!The Alchemy dress from Violent Seduction actually comes with a mad awesome jacket but I thought it would be fun to show it with this great new jacket from the Kendra outfit by Blue Blood so you can see how it can be mixed and matched. Plus it looks cool with my fave boots :PThe skin from Tacky Star is available as a cheapie for only 50L! I rarely change my shape but the Sileny shape from Savoir Faire shapes just fits me so well. Not sure if she actually made it with me in mind but dang the Sileny name works since it fits me really well!

Tuli! Zomg! Jade! Woo!

If you can't tell by the title I am *very* excited about the new skin line being released May 28th, 2010 by Tuli. The line is called Jade and is a combination of Hope and Eva.I am showing some of my favorite makeups in my favorite tone, tone 1. The makeups range from simple and classic to wild and bright. As a total skin freak who changes skins several times a day I must say I love the variety in options available to me from the Jade line.The remaining four tones are shown below. Each tone is gorgeous and rich, the light tones aren't washed out and the darker tones aren't too gray or orange. There are so many options in this line. Besides things like the classic light and dark eyebrows, there is an option which is fairly unique of having *three* cleavage options. There is the "regular" cleavage, the pushed up super cleavage, and an option for a flatter chest.All in all this skin line is sure to be one of the best of the year and should be quite popular.

So I got this outfit from Donna Flora a while back and it is so yum!I love how the shine on the pants gives me that extra round looking booty. Everyone loves an apple bottom, hehe. Nomine Mosaic Line! Best Nomine Line Yet? Why Yes!

Long title, totally true. Nomine has released a new skin line called Mosaic. This line fits its name entirely, having a wide array of styles, colors, and tones available for all you skinaholics. Everything about this skin is great. It's unique, lovely, and extremely creative. Very fat pack worthy.
I am only showing some of the makeups here, on two tones (China White and Peach) though there are many more makeups and many more tones.My favorite parts of the skins are the lips, hips, stomach and knees. All have great shading and detail. Also, the range of makeup leaves nothing to be desired. I can't really think of another makeup I would want that isn't already in the line. Next time Nomine makes a skin line I would like it to be based on B movie stars and have amped up cleavage. This is my official recommendation, lol! I don't know why but I think Munchflower would do it well, like everything she does!

AtomicBambi is the Apple of My Eye

AtomicBambi's new Apple line is my favorite so far. The tones are lovely, there are freckle and brow options, even gloss options. They really don't leave you wanting anything else.
I picked out a few of my fave makeups to share, shown in gloss and no gloss, with some freckles scattered throughout.I wore dark brows for all because I have a dark hair on (YAY for new Lamb!) but there is also a light and a red choice.My fave tone and makeup is the "Juicy" makeup on the "Sunblush" tone, shown below. It just looks so sweet, as if the cheeks have been pinched by an over-excited great-aunt.And of course my obsession with clown an doll skins makes me looove the Le Cirque special skins. It really looks powdery and makeup-y. Fabulous!Also make sure to click the photos to enlarge and check out my eyes. They are new releases from Bodyline and I love them lots!

Can't Sleep, centipedes will eat me. I need to do laundry but I saw a centipede crawl out of the laundry pile and now I am scared. So, I will do SL laundry.

Love Thursdays

I have no real clue what a "Love Thursday" is but Isabeau told me a bit about it and I figured I could show some stuff I love this week. I was talking to a pal about our love for system skirts, so I figured I would wear one today! I know a lot of people are so not into the system skirt but I feel it is misunderstood. It is really the only way you can get a sleek skirt look without going the way of the crotch flap. I think A-Bomb does a lot of great system skirt dresses, like the one worn below:

So cute! The dress and shoes are a new release too!. A-Bomb is great for retro and subculutre-embracing styles so you need to check them out now. The shoes are color change, BTW. YAY! I also really love this hair from Vanity Hair. Every time there is a new release she outs a version of it out for 1L in an exclusvie color. Can you beat that? Heck no. I got this style in the exclusive dollarbie color when it came out and had to go back and get the black pack later. it's just too fun. The pocket watch necklace is from another fave of mine, DM Designs. There is something super fun about pocket watches and having it as a necklace is even better. YAY Again!

I also wanted to show another love of mine via face shot close-up. One thing I love is unusual and unique skins. When people think of "unusual" they often think of outrageously off the wall skins with florescent makeups and such; I, on the other hand, think of places like Skin Within who do skins that are made to represent real life looks in such a way that they became against the norm. We all know not everyone has a teeny, tiny slope nose and perfect cat-shaped eyes in real life. Skin Within embraces that and makes skins to fit all ethnicities and races. I am wearing my normal shape with the Amelie skin but when you purchase the skin a different shape is included. These skins are really unique and great for role play or everyday wear.

Note on system skirts:
To make your butt not look gigantic in a system skirt, all you have to do is lower the size of your butt and saddle bags by a few points until you get the level of "flatness" you want. Your shape should either be modifiable or should have included a system skirt shape when you bought it. If your shape is no mod and you don't have a skirt shape I would suggest contacting the creator of the shape to make you a skirt version!
