When Cajsa let it be known on Plurk that Squinternet Larnia, creator of Donna Flora, was very ill in RL I was very upset. While Squinternet is on my in-world friends list, I have never talked to her beyond business purposes. Why? Because she intimidates me. Not in the "I'm afraid of her" sort of way but in the "I am constantly in awe of her talent and don't feel worthy of speaking to her" sort of way. I know, it's really strange and silly for someone to get starstruck in SL, but when someone has genuine talent, real artistic talent that goes beyond pushing pixels around in photoshop, I can't help it. Donna Flora's pieces really are art.
Check out the detail on this necklace. I don't even know where I would begin to describe the colors, textures, prim work, and general awesome style so I'll just let you look on your own. I know people cover her clothing quite often, and believe me I have many folders of them, but I wanted to show the jewelry since I think accessories often get overlooked.
I am praying for Squinternet and I sincerely hope she gets better, and soon, so I can work up the nerve to talk to her before I get too shy again. If you would like to see the rest of the Donna Flora A-Z posts please check HERE. Best wishes Squinternet!

I just saw this necklace pic on Flicker and said oh muh gawwwd before coming here to get the details.
Even though I don't know her, I hope Squinternet gets better very soon too! I don't like hearing of anyone getting ill.
Ehehmmm...starstruck in SL, yes I dooo know of that pretty well. It's why I rarely if ever IM the creators on my friends list *coff coff*
I agree about accessories often times getting overlooked too. One of the (many) reasons I love this blog is because you guys feature a lot of non-clothing items in your posts.
Gorgeous styling and thank you so much for participating.
I couldn't agree more. I too have had a similar friends list experience with Squinternet that you have. I would like to comment that unlike most creators or store managers or such that friend bloggers or customers for work purposes, she has never chosen to hide from or de-friend because we hardly, if ever talk. Given the things I have read about her in these great posts in the Donna Flora A to Z Project, her friends list must be gianormous and growing. Can't think of a better person to have that. Along with you my prayers are with her (as are many of my Lindens) and hope we see her happy, healthy, and creating again soon.
PS - that necklace completely and totally kicks butt (pg comment here but you now what I really wanted to say.)
