Tuli-billy

Hello!  Man, am I slacking on blogging.  I have more things I want to blog than time.  When I start college this summer it's going to be even worse.  ARGH!  OK, sorry about complaining.  I just had to get that off my chest and also it explains why I am so slow on reporting new releases.  ANYWAY, moving on!
I got this hair in the Megastuff Hunt from Jaryth's Barber Shop and even though it's meant for dudes I just loved it anyway.  girls can rock short hair just as well as guys.  Well, not my RL self, I look horrifying with short hair, but that's not SL so never mind. :P  I had never heard of this store before but I highly suggest men go check it out because there are some really unusual and interesting things, like beards and receding hair lines, etc.  Sweet!
I got this Rockabilly Princess top from Fission around the same time as the hair and it was just too perfect not to wear together.  I love the little mesh tied up part and my daughter loves the skull with pigtails drawing, haha.  Lots of colors available.
(Cut below this picture because undies is why)

Cutie Booty Baby Face

So Baby Face (A.K.A. Baby Princess) has these freaking adorable skins at Skin Fair.  I had never heard of the store before this which is nuts because I freaking love skins.  I'm glad I found them because OMG SO CUTE WHATTTTTT!  Here I am wearing the option for teeth layer and no brows (I'm wearing a different brand's brows.).  I am also wearing eyes from the brand that are really nice.
My sweater is a gacha item from Moon Amore.  I have blogged this store before but only ever found their items on the Marketplace until now.  The sweater is from a gacha and each win comes with a HUD to change the texture to a different color/pattern.  The rare prize is the HUD for all the colors.
My little toast earrings are also a gacha item and are from buttery Toast.  Only 25L a pop!  I love this store because I love everything to do with food and clearly the owner shares my interest.
I did a second look to show you some more options for the Baby Face skin.  This one is shown with the brows on, an eyeliner tattoo, and is used with mesh breasts.  The applier matches really well and comes with a cleavage and no cleavage option for it.  he skin also has options for your mesh butts, hands and feet too.
  More details below!

Nursie

Hi guys!  I'm too into this awesome music to concentrate on clever writing so let's get right into the details, shall we?
This skin/applier from Adam n Eve for Skin Fair makes me so happy.  I love Adam n Eve skins anyway but then you add in that it's an applier for SLink Visage?  Yes please!  My dress is from Pure Style and I had some fitting issues with it in regards to the alpha that I don't generally have with standard sizing items.  But it was only 50L and I eventually got it to work and I got lots of compliments wearing it so no big deal.  :P
This applier comes with about a million options in the hud.  OK, not a million, but I love hyperbole!  But, yeah, there are a bunch of options and there is a red lipstick options, which means I am happy.  You can have red, brows, or blonde brows too, not just the color I am wearing.  The skin itself is a wonderful makeup-free, natural look.  You can also get other SLink appliers from Adam N Eve as well.  Here is what the hud looks like in case you are interested:
I am kind of in love with the little clipboard from Ni.Ju.  It comes with a bunch of textures you can put on the face of it to fit whatever outfit/scene you are going for.  I chose a medical one because of the whole nurse thing, obviously.  There are wear and rez versions included and you can also have a bloody version!  My little pill set was a cheapie from Follow Us and it just fit too darn well not to share it too.
OK buddies, all the rest of the details below!

Skin Fair Script Limits

Some people have been very concerned about not being allowed into Skin Fair and even getting ejected/crashing because of being over script limit.  Someone on Plurk mentioned that bloggers haven't much spoken about this.  I thought I should mention it here since I will be blogging lots of Skin Fair things soon.
Script limit is 15.  You will be ejected if you go over.
This event is wonderful, heck my store is in it even and I got early access and life is good hahaha, so I don't want there to be a ton of ill will and stuff.  That might make me seem biased but whatever, I'm happy with t. :P  I know my blog isn't like super popular or anything but it can't hurt to post this in case someone happens to see this before going to the event.
Anyway, the event blog is HERE.  "Drama" or not (I do hate calling arguments and disagreements drama but that seems to be what we do these days) it's still a great event to check out.  Who doesn't like skins??  They even have male skins, kid skins, mesh head appliers...etc.  Go and make up your mind on whether you are for or against the event (just go with 15 or less scripts on please.)

Just Cuz

So I spend most of my time in SL bald, AO-less, probably naked, because of the being a creator/hermit thing, as I have said before, so when I put an outfit on for no reason other than to feel cute I guess I should blog it.
Most of these items aren't particularly new so I am sure you have seen the blogged a million time before.  I just love the colors, the shapes, the styles, and feel that considering how happy they make me I should show them, new or not!
I left the photo completely unedited, no sharp angled rounded or pixeled line smudged, because I wanted to show you how it was pretty enough unedited, with my lower end graphics, that I still felt compelled to post.  Spring is here folks, and the colors are ready to pop!
WORN:
Dress: Valentina E. (past FLF item, not sure if still out in this color but I will check and update)
Shoes: Adore&Abhor
Hair: Clawtooth by Clawtooth @ The Arcade
Skin and Mesh Head: SLink
Pose: Marukin

Surprise! Guess What? I Exist!

No, for real, I do.  I feel the need to point that out because there are some people in the world who would claim that people like me are fake.
You see, I am bisexual.  I am 31 years old.  This is not a phase.  I have known this almost my entire life.  I've dated men and women.  I am currently married to a man because he's the one who chased me down and held me long enough for me to give in and just agree to love him, haha.
There are people in the world who have made up there mind that bisexual people pretty much don't exist. They say we are straight but experimenting. Gay but experimenting.  Horny sex addicts.  Seeking attention.  Greedy.  They have lots of excuses made up in their heads to explain away people like me.  This is not just straight people.  Even gay folks like to say this.  Obviously not everyone feels this way but some do.  It sucks.
Coming out is rough as it is.  You worry what people will do because sometimes the reactions are very harsh.  People have been beaten, abused, tortured, arrested, and even killed for their sexual preference.  Sometimes you decide to come out to someone you feel you can trust first, a very accepting straight friend, or a gay friend.  When you come out and people you think will accept you laugh at you and dismiss you as a phase or whatever it's hard.  It makes it even harder to want to come out to the rest of the public.
There is an event in SL right now run by SLGBT that is raising money for PFLAG, an organization that seeks to educate the public about LGBT folks and their families, advocate for them, and provide services to promote the health and well being of those who might not be in the best situation.  It's important to not the "B" in LGBT.  They accept bisexuals.  They recognize our existence.  They recognize that it is a genuine sexual preference and not a phase.  I can support this 100%.
I like this shirt from Pale Empress's gacha because it goes even further than LGBT and includes Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex, and asexual.  This is important since many groups don't regularly feel included.  Asexuality is one that I know many feel is almost never included or recognized by groups so seeing it on this shirt makes me very happy.
Anyway I have written way too much so I will end quickly, haha.  You can find the SLGBT website HERE and the Seraphim article showing all the gacha items available HERE.  50% of all gacha proceeds will be donated to PFLAG.  Check it out!
WORN:

Hat: Capacious, gacha item at SLGBT Spread the Love gacha event

Please note a few things here.  First, I might be getting a few things wrong.  I am feeling...weird at the moment and my mind is sort of messy.  I will fix any mistakes if I find them.  Second, if any of the language or terms I have used offend you let me know!  What might not be offensive to me and people I know may very well be offensive to someone else.  If that's the case I apologize.  Third, my experience as a bisexual woman does not reflect that of everyone in my situation.  We all have different lives and I don't claim to speak for everyone.  Finally, my experience is not meant to diminish in any way the experiences of anyone else of an sexual preference.  This is just my feelings about things that go in the world in regards to prejudice against bisexuals.
With that, I am done babbling.  Have a great day!
