Feeling Green

  So how excited am I about Halloween coming up? The answer is Very.  I am very excited. October is the absolute best time in SL for me. The events! The gifts!  The shopping!  The spookily decorated sims! Even looking through Flickr at what all the people I am following post is a spooky SL fashion lover's dream. I cannot wait!
  The stuff I am wearing today is a mix of very old and very new. Yes, I know I have been doing a lot of old and some unavailable items lately, but I can't help it. Bakes on Mesh coming out has made me incredibly nostalgic. I keep digging out my old favorites and swooning over them. It has actually encouraged me to start creating again so watch out soon for lots of gifties coming your way, made by yours truly!

Pink Fuel and More

  Hi all! I got this awesome skin from Pink Fuel for Skin Fair and I am all about it! I put together a look with freebies I got so enjoy some fun!

  This skin is Emiri. It was originally a gacha skin in three tones (those tones are still in the gacha only) but now this skin has been expanded to include a billion other tones for purchase. It comes with several brow colors, a no brow option, and 9 lipsticks. It's a pretty good deal and very high quality.  It's for the Genus head only so keep that in mind!
  My hair and earrings are from Analog Dog and Romanzi at the Imaginarium. You have to join the Gimme Gacha group to grab them. The place was surprisingly empty considering the adorable gachs items for sale and the ton of gifts. Check it out if you can! My head jewel thing is a fishing prize at Sn@tch. I love it so much. I always try to hit up the fishing area at Sn@tch each round and the initial pole purchase cost has been repaid over and over many times over the years.

I'm Back...I Think?

  Aside from popping on two or three times in 2017 reluctantly and a few times here and there in 2016 I haven't been in SL in a long time and when I was I really didn't enjoy it much. I have issues in RL to deal with but aside from that I had someone in SL that I trusted a lot repeatedly break my trust and it just...killed it for me.  If I was going to be stressed out in RL I was going to find a stress-free way to have fun, not a drama filled one! So I played regular video games instead (say hey to me on Overwatch lmao.) But now I feel like I miss playing with everyone (I still see some people in RL Facebook and I do check on Plurk a bit even if it seems like I don't because I don't actually say much so I still care, don't worry lol) and I miss playing dress up and I miss creating and gosh darn it I even miss my KittyCats! So it's time to start fresh now that I have had time to learn to enjoy the game again.

  Will I blog a lot? Not sure.  I was a bit sad to see that People let Free*Style die while I was away.  Breaks my hearts a little and I am not sure if I have the energy to try to revive it all on my own.  I can blog here sometimes for sure but how much I don't know.  I definitely won't stress myself out and will just do it when and if I want to, whether it be once a week or once a month or once a day, who knows?
  Will I create stuff?  Not sure either.  I hope so though! I have ideas all the time. I need to learn how to work with some of the new systems and what people use.  I will probably start really slow, maybe make a couple small things and pop a thing on marketplace, maybe make a freebie and donate it somewhere for noobs, idk.  Who knows? It's an adventure waiting to happen!
  Finally, will I stick around for real? Well...not sure.  My health is really still a big old question mark. As far as I know I am not dying or anything but I feel like shit all the time and if I find that being in SL makes me feel any worse than I do then I am out.  I don't want to take any of the small amount of time I have feeling good out of my RL because of a hobby when that good energy could be spent with my family. So, we will see.  But I hope I can stick around because gosh darn it I really missed a lot of you. :)

Lola's Goth Pop

  Hi guys!  I am taking a break from my school work to blog something from the World Goth Fair.  Even though World Goth Day was yesterday they shopping event is still going strong in SL.  One item I like from the event is this dress from Lolapop.  It's sexy but not over the top revealing.  It's a modest length, but there is a high side slit.  It shows a great deal of shoulder and back but there is a high collar.  It's a satiny material but with a leather look collar.  It has skulls but they are rainbow colored.  All the mix of dark and light, hard and whimsical, reminds me of the store's creator, who has become a friend of mine over the years.  Shes a goth from way back and a sweetheart.  A wonderful store with a wonderful creator, what a wonderful combination.  Wonderful!

Surprise! Guess What? I Exist!

  No, for real, I do.  I feel the need to point that out because there are some people in the world who would claim that people like me are fake.
  You see, I am bisexual.  I am 31 years old.  This is not a phase.  I have known this almost my entire life.  I've dated men and women.  I am currently married to a man because he's the one who chased me down and held me long enough for me to give in and just agree to love him, haha.
  There are people in the world who have made up there mind that bisexual people pretty much don't exist. They say we are straight but experimenting. Gay but experimenting.  Horny sex addicts.  Seeking attention.  Greedy.  They have lots of excuses made up in their heads to explain away people like me.  This is not just straight people.  Even gay folks like to say this.  Obviously not everyone feels this way but some do.  It sucks.
  Coming out is rough as it is.  You worry what people will do because sometimes the reactions are very harsh.  People have been beaten, abused, tortured, arrested, and even killed for their sexual preference.  Sometimes you decide to come out to someone you feel you can trust first, a very accepting straight friend, or a gay friend.  When you come out and people you think will accept you laugh at you and dismiss you as a phase or whatever it's hard.  It makes it even harder to want to come out to the rest of the public.

  There is an event in SL right now run by SLGBT that is raising money for PFLAG, an organization that seeks to educate the public about LGBT folks and their families, advocate for them, and provide services to promote the health and well being of those who might not be in the best situation.  It's important to not the "B" in LGBT.  They accept bisexuals.  They recognize our existence.  They recognize that it is a genuine sexual preference and not a phase.  I can support this 100%.
  I like this shirt from Pale Empress's gacha because it goes even further than LGBT and includes Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex, and asexual.  This is important since many groups don't regularly feel included.  Asexuality is one that I know many feel is almost never included or recognized by groups so seeing it on this shirt makes me very happy.

Sky Captain

When I put this outfit on yesterday I instantly felt like I could be a villain or something in a movie like Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. The eye patch, the stockings, the shoes, everything just screamed vintage vixen villain. Love!!!

I am also loving red lately so this jacket is great. Apparently it has materials enabled but I have no idea how to use those or if my computer can even handle it so it isn't shown. :P It should also be noted that unless you wear a larger size or the jacket over the smallest size of the dress they won't work together.

A Sleepless Night

  Well, who could sleep really when they have a corset on?  But ignore that thought because it's a picture and it has a night time feel and shhhh I am tired. :P

  My corset is one of three colors from Lassitude&Ennui for the Adore&Abhor 5 year anniversary celebration.  I was on vacation so I didn't get to put an item out and I missed the start of it (which made me SUPER SAD) but it's still going on and there are so many great deals so check it out!  My collar is also from L&E and is available at the L'Accessoires event.  It's romantic and lovely as L&E does perfectly.  I added an underwear set from Sn@tch (an older item but still good!) that also had the romance vibe going on to match.  More details below!

Hairy and Red

I got this new mesh hair from Analog Dog and I had to blog it right away.  It's just too good not to show off!  When a lot of people think of Analog Dog they think of 2007 giant flexi permanently full bright shiny hair, when in fact it has changed quite a lot in that time.  They have just started doing mesh but I am already floored by the quality.  Not only is the hair mesh (something I have come to think of as a positive for most brands, though some brands don't fit my big, weird head yet) but it also has a separate attachment with flexi parts to give it a bit of movement.  Super cool!

My mesh crop top is from Schadenfreude and I just love this retro style.  This top comes in the "standard sizing" fits from XXS-L.  My skin is my new go-to from MiaSnow.  I don't want to take it off ever, don't make me!!!! *Cries*

The Muse

The Muse is one of the latest clothing releases from Violent Seduction. There are options for long gown skirts, exposed breasts, lolita skirt and tons more. I wore the shortest skirt option in order to show a tiny peek of the adorable bloomers below it.The skin is a new release from Tacky Star. It's hard to find a totally white skin in SL that doesn't look completely flat and they are great for doll avs! I wore an L. Fauna red lipstick tattoo over it because I just felt my creepy dolly lady needed a splash of blood red color.
