Grim Bros. has so many release at alt fair! I want to show you them all but time constraints = sadness. So here is one of my faves!The Emerald Lili dress comes complete with hat and heels and is in my favorite color, emerald green. 100% of the revenues from this outfit go to Nothing But Nets. Can you beat that? Well you can't really beat 100%, though you can match it...and Material Squirrel is also donating 100% of the amazing, limited edition Ondine wings! At only 199L these wings are a steal. Even the Iren skin (which is gorgeous and only 300L!) is giving 100& of proceeds to charity!

Retro-Tastic at the Alt Fair

Oh, A-Bomb, will you ever cease to make me love you? As long as you keep making polka dots I highly doubt it :DI love this shirt and skirt from A-Bomb. OK, they are both polka dot and different colors and probably shouldn't be worn together but OH WELL I LIKE IT! The skin from Sn@tch is a fair exclusive so if you want it NOW IS THE TIME! Don't put it off or you will be kicking yourself for not getting it when you had the chance.Oh...and A-Bomb? They also made awesome, texture change, clogs. Have my babies A-Bomb?

Forsaken Emotions

The Alt Fair is about things a bit darker and a bit unusual; the items from Forsaken and EMO-tions reflect this perfectly.If you want heads to turn, this is the look for you. The fully sculpted corset, top, and posture collar, the ballet boots, the sculpt-topped gloves and stockings, two skirt options, satiny panties, not to mention the skin, shape, eyes, and blindfold....all these put together make for a perfect outfit for anyone taking a walk on the wild (and quite naughty) side. The hair from EMO-tions completes this look perfectly. The details are phenomenal and the front head piece ends perfectly above the blindfold of the Forsaken look.

Show Me the Free and Cheap?

The lovely items from Show Me On the Doll for the alternative fair make me absolutely swoon. The total look makes me wonder what kind of girl is wearing this...Is she a slightly insane, tough, stubborn and futuristic princess of destruction, bent on getting her way no matter what?Or is she more of the artistic wallflower, patiently waiting for the party to end, tears running slowly down her cheeks. Knowing she will never be part of the norm makes her sad but she secretly relishes the thought and thrives on the living controversy that she is.Or maybe it's all of the above and more? All I know for certain is the creator, Putrid Gloom, is an amazingly generous woman, giving the entire outfit for free with nothing but a simple request for a donation in any amount. Even the stunning skin is only 100L with 100% of the proceeds going to Nothing But Nets. Yes, she may be dark and gloomy, but the heart inside burns brightly with the fire of generosity and passion.

Enter SandGirl : Alt Fair Preview!

Locked in a box, she waited.One of my favorite stories of all time is the Sandman series by Neil Gaiman. When I saw the helmet from NebuchadNezzar at the Alternative Fair it instantly brought to mind the helm worn by the main character in the graphic novels. The helmet has a very eerie sort of glow that makes it difficult to distinguish the finer details of one's face and lends a mysterious air to the whole look. If you want to be even more mysterious there is an option to tint the glass portion of the mask to a higher level of opacity, even to complete black. The helmet also includes shoulder armor which I am not wearing in order to show off the awesome DV8 dress.This outfit from DV8 actually comes in several parts for mixing and matching. I chose the sort of sweet latex ballerina girl combination as an homage to the almost carnival or circus feel to many portions of the Sandman series. The ensemble comes complete with shoes, socks, and several options for tops. It's sweet without being overly saccharin and tough without feeling bulky or grungy. A perfect look for the woman who can make your dreams come true...The items from this post are available at the Alternative Fair from April 22nd-May 2nd. Each vendor will have *at least* one item out with 50%-100% of the proceeds going to the charity Nothing But Nets. The charity is amazing and you can find out more information on it HERE. There are also numerous donation kiosks out for you to contribute any amount. The fair is NOT open until 12PM SLT on April 22nd but I hope this post will get you excited about the event!
