Waiting.

I wait for him, watching out the window, every car that passes by first a hope, then a disappointment. I smoke through a pack, nervous rumblings in my stomach, unable to sit still. The stress of the anticipation is killing me more than the tar and carcinogenic fog filling my lungs ever will.I run my hand down the white lace, fitted against my body, spotless and waiting to be tossed onto the floor. My feathered jewelry and virginal color choice whispers purity but my red lips and dark eyes scream something completely different. I want him here, I want him now. I want the waiting to end.
