Feeling Kind of Earthy

Wow, I really hate the new Blogger home layout.  It's burninating my eyeballs with all the white. D:  But anyway, blog post time! I don't wear brown and gold tones very often, blame the goth-punk-psychobilly chick in me, but every once in a while I find some stuff I like.  When I saw this cabaret-inspired vest (part of a whole outfit) as a hunt item from Cillian'gel for Wear Gray I got super excited and decided I had to make a look around it.  I looked through the recent items tab in my inventory and was pleasantly surprised to find lots of things that worked with it!  Even this cute chair from Mudhoney and this lovely little beachy house from Funky Junk worked with the look.  This skirt from Miao was a great find especially, I love the ruffly bottom of it!

And for the closest close-up yet, check out my prim hands from MiaSnow.  I was weary of prim hands, hadn't tried them before this, but MiaSnow is always very affordable and these came with color change nails, bracelets, and, best of all, get this...Ring Pop Ring!!  YAY!  When I saw the store blog link to these in my offline messages I was literally about to go get my daughter a Ring Pop from the cupboard, totally not even shitting you.  It was meant to be!

Umeko Love!

My pal grabbed the free Umeko skin from Imabee and was all :O:O:O I need more! She bought both fat packs right away. This is the power of the Imabee skin. Once you get a taste you always want more!The skin gets lots of raves for its fabulous cleavage layers but not enough about the cute butt! Look at that behind! I feel like a pin-up :DThere are lots of options for this skin, from light to dark brows, freckled and not freckled, as well as the cleavage layers on shirt and undershirt layers.My favorite tone is "stem" which I am wearing here. I also am wearing the light brows option and have switched back and forth between freckled and not. Donna Flora and a Nomine Preview!

I have spent a few thousand L's the last few weeks at Donna Flora and, let me tell you, I am ALWAYS happy with my purchases. I don't know why I usually don't blog them. Probably due to my extreme laziness with blogging these days :P I do love them though. Donna Flora has easily slipped into my top five fave stores in Second Life.
The latest dress I bought is this lovely floral number that reminds me of nymphs and sprites and fairies and all that jibba jabba. I am wearing with one of my new fave skins ever from Nomine! Green is my fave color to wear and it's so rare to find it in skins. I was sure a happy camper when I saw this!! This skin line is not out yet but I was super lucky enough to get a preview :D

Poor Little Rich Girl

I was watching the movie Factory Girl the other day and the phrase "poor little rich girl" has been stuck in my head. The phrase always reminds me of the 1920's or 1930's, for some reason, not even sure why. So I grabbed my Donna Flora folder and had a peek to see what I could find.
This coat makes me so happy. The sculpts and textures are just PERFECT and I love that it comes with the cute bloomers underneath too. The coat actually comes with a hat and several hair color options as well but I wanted to have a more disheveled look today :)The hair I chose to wear is a new release from I Love Olive. I love the wispy tendrils!! Perfect for a "morning after the party" look. The skin is a recent release from Candy Doll and I just love the puckered lips.
